In November of 2016, Libenu opened its newest home located on Touhy Avenue in West Rogers Park. The total gut renovation of a two-flat was designed to accommodate the specific needs of the clients ranging from state of the art accessible bathrooms, to common space with an open floor plan. The innovative concept for this home allows for both units the to be used independently which provides for a variety of personalities and levels of need, while at the same time being supervised under one roof.The clients had a warm welcome to the community and have enjoyed trying the many different synagogues and kosher eating options that the community has to offer. We are sure they will make great use of their new home for many years to come. This home was made possible thanks to the initial vision and generosity of Ricky Rothner and Bob and Debbie Hartman.
